Prints
Prints connect drawing and painting to fabrics and fibers in textile form. Printed fabric can evoke any imagery style, but can be uniquely deployed with asymmetric, non-repeating patterns, like our Pastoral printed velvet.
The earliest examples of printed textiles originate from East Asia circa 200 C.E. Printed textiles came to Europe via the Middle in the 12th Century CE, and Pre-Columbian societies also practiced textile printing in the Americas.
